Interested candidates must have a proven track record in quality assured research publications. He/She will ideally demonstrate capacity for independent research and be able to make significant contribution to the Department appointed to, in terms of curriculum development and fostering industrial/academic collaboration.

This role will be responsible in, among others:

1.         Teaching and curriculum development;

2.         Research work in area of expertise;

3.         Publication of full-length articles in recognised journals;

4.         Conducting seminars/ lectures/ workshops related to field of expertise;

5.         Supervision of postgraduate students; and

6.         Securing research grants.

MODE OF APPOINTMENT:

For Malaysian:

• Permanent or contract appointment.

For International:

• Contract for two (2) years, renewable subject to performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

For Malaysian:

• PhD in relevant field OR Clinical Master/Professional qualification (Faculty of Medicine or Dentistry);

For International:

• PhD in relevant field OR Clinical Master/Professional qualification (Faculty of Medicine or Dentistry);
• Publications in international peer-reviewed journals/ISI-indexed journals; and
• Additional requirement:

** Candidates with more experience may be considered for senior positions (Associate Professor/ Professor).
